Mrs. Sarah Mayfield will be receiving her graduate degree in clinical psychology from Brenau University in May of 2023. Mrs. Mayfield is receiving supervision from Dr. Brooke A. Jones, practice owner and clinical psychologist. Mrs. Mayfield’s passion for psychology dates back to middle school, where she took an interest in understanding human behavior as a result of the many changes, she was experiencing both in and out of the home. Mrs. Mayfield had a previous career in banking, where she worked her way up to bank manager by building great relationships with her clients and her superiors. She knows the value of making a connection with others by showing empathy and understanding. Mrs. Mayfield believes that unresolved trauma can affect all areas of life. Having lost a family member to suicide, she has seen first-hand how devastating untreated mental illness can be. She believes compassionate and comprehensive care is needed to equip those struggling with negative emotions to live a life of fulfillment, freedom and joy. Mrs. Mayfield’s interests include working with those who have depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and religious trauma.

Mrs. Mayfield is a member of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia (LPCA)

Mrs. Mayfield’s hobbies include spending time with her husband and three daughters, traveling, working out, cooking healthy food, and reading.
