Tiye King is a graduate from Columbia University School of Social Work in New York. She received her undergraduate degree from Winston-Salem State University where she majored in Rehabilitation Studies. During Ms. King’s time at WSSU, she interned at The Children’s Center for Special Needs. She learned about different developmental disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Down Syndrome and Autism. At her internship, she worked with the occupational therapist to create communication devices for children. Ms. King obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work and is certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). She has experience with in-home counseling, ABA therapy, and psychometry.
Ms. King enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She likes to travel when she can and enjoys shopping, reading, drawing and playing board games in her free time.
