Zehra Rizvi completed her undergraduate education at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She later earned her Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Augusta University in Augusta, GA at which time she was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi, the Honors Society in Psychology.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Ms. Rizvi has extensive experience in treating a variety of psychological issues. She understands the challenges her clients face when seeking counseling and, therefore, developing trust and making her clients feel secure is of utmost importance.

Ms. Rizvi's goal in therapy is to provide clients with the tools necessary for developing a sense of empowerment that will assist them in overcoming their challenges. She firmly believes that by restructuring the perception of our world and, subsequently, our responses to the environment, we can improve our sense of well-being.

Ms. Rizvi realizes that no single modality is appropriate for everyone, and, therefore, she uses an eclectic approach in treatment. Her training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Reality Therapy, Psychodynamic, as well as therapeutic methods founded on Asian philosophy. She adheres to a holistic approach in therapy with an emphasis on managing mental and physical health through an integrative strategy. She offers counseling services to the adult and adolescent populations.
