Chelsea Moodie provides compassionate counseling to help children and adolescents reach their goals. She offers many creative therapy methods such as play therapy, art, and sand tray therapy. She has a passion for group therapy to help children and adolescents with how to make and maintain friendships, improve conflict resolution skills, and engage in flexible thinking. Ms. Moodie is also skilled in providing practical skills to children who have Attention-Deficit//Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Ms. Moodie has training in mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) techniques, which can significantly improve your child's response to stress-provoking events. Utilizing mindfulness techniques to strengthen the mind/body connection, she seeks to empower her clients so they can restore balance in their lives. Counseling from a Christian perspective is available at client's request.
Ms. Moodie obtained her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University.
